What's included in the 3-year limited warranty?

Most DEWALT® tools purchased on or after January 1, 2004, come with a comprehensive warranty package designed to ensure reliability and performance. This package includes three distinct levels of coverage.

Coverage Levels

  1. Three-Year Limited Warranty DEWALT will repair, without charge, any defects due to faulty materials or workmanship for three years from the date of purchase or delivery (whichever is later).

    • Covered: Defects in material or workmanship.

    • Not Covered: Part failure due to normal wear, tool abuse, accessories, or damage resulting from repairs attempted by unauthorized parties.

  2. One-Year Free Service Contract For the first year following purchase or delivery, DEWALT will maintain the tool and replace worn parts caused by normal use for free.

  3. 3. 90-Day Money Back Guarantee If you are not completely satisfied with the performance of your DEWALT Power Tool, Laser, or Nailer, you may return it within 90 days of purchase or delivery for a full refund.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Coverage extends only to the original end-user purchaser.

  • Products must be purchased from an authorized seller.

  • Proof of purchase is required to validate the date of purchase/delivery.
